4th International Symposium on Multibody Systems and Mechatronics

M U SM E 2011

October 25 - 28,   2011:   Valencia,   Spain

ABOUT MuSMe

Modern systems can be considered as integrated systems that can be properly studied, designed, and operated by using Mechatronics viewpoints, but even considering the multibody architecture. Indeed, multibody system kinematics and dynamics can be thought as fundamental disciplines for Mechatronics approaches in designing and operating modern systems.

The aim of The International Symposium on Multibody Systems and Mechatronics - MuSMe is to have a specific international conference which facilitates a meeting with academic and industrial experts, who are interested on Multibody Systems and Mechatronics, participating in technical papers presentations, plenary lectures and informal conversations in order to share experiences and to discuss results of investigations. The single-session format is adopted for the oral presentations of the papers, enabling the exchange of knowledges.

The 4th edition of MuSMe will be held from October 25 to October 28, 2011, and will be organized by CITV - Centro de Investigación de Tecnología de Vehículos, Universidad Politécnica de Valencia

Language: English will be the working language of the Symposium and will be used for the proceedings, the presentations and discussions. No simultaneous translation will be provided.

Topics: Contributed papers are invited in the broad areas of Multibody Systems and Mechatronics and not restricted to the topics:

·  Analysis and synthesis of mechanisms

·  Dynamic of multibody systems

·  Design algorithms for mechatronic systems

·  Simulation procedures and results

·  Prototypes and their performance

·  Robots and micromachines

·  Experimental validations

·  Theory of mechatronic simulation

·  Mechatronic systems

·  Control of mechatronic systems

A limited number of papers by students will be accepted for presentation. Best papers awards will be given in the area of research, applications and student papers.
